hi guys welcome to this short video review about the internet’s cloud storage platform it have been making a lot of advertisement lately and so I have been thinking about uh to join or at least to check out what it is how it works how good it is I’ve been reading a lot of reviews and this is what I think about it looks like the company is in Spain but I have really no clue where they have their online storage maybe it’s AWS like Amazon or so we don’t know so we have to be a little bit careful of course what we upload of course they are saying there’s no unauthorized data access but it doesn’t mean that there is no data access it just says not unauthorized so if the government comes and asks for some data I’m pretty sure they will have access and maybe some other parties so you have to be really careful what you upload I highly recommend to encrypt everything thing which is sensitive like sensitive pictures or password information or these things with a 256 bit encryptions so back to the offers which they have they have this uh drive here so that’s pretty cool so you can have it like a replication here on the desktop or on your phone so it has a lot of functionality I haven’t been checking everything about their functionality they have even specific products for pictures to save these pictures if you don’t want to use like a Google photos also they even have something new and this is the send and they are saying it will allow you to share things with encryption but I mean there are a lot of free really good and reliable encryption apps which are even using open source and here you don’t know what we have to deal always but let’s go back to the pricing what they have they have a 10 gigabyte 20 Gigabytes 200 gigabytes and even two terabytes that’s the monthly thing and if I would do anything here I would go with this thing I mean either monthly which doesn’t look too expensive but when we compare it to Google then it’s almost double the price as far as I remember Google has 299 for 200 gigabytes so it’s definitely not cheap and we go with the annual then it’s still a little bit more expensive than Google so if I would go with anything then I would go either with the monthly or the annually and definitely not with the lifetime the big problem with the lifetime is always I mean it looks very very tempting especially let me look for example at this two terabyte 299 you’ll think okay 230 provides almost last forever in 299 is not so much more than buying an external hard disk drive and then you’re safe forever I can tell you no you are not a couple of options how to scam you I mean the main thing is what a lot of such cloud storage or doing their storing these things let’s say on Amazon and Amazon is scanning your files and if they detect anything I mean it could be that you are recording let’s say a birthday party or anything where there is some copyright protected music in the background I mean it’s just for you you should be allowed to do that but some of these Cloud providers will then get response from Amazon Amazon instead saying okay there is some copyright things and they will go on say okay you have violated the terms of service and we are canceling your account no matter what you have no matter what you have paid and then then you have wasted 299 dollars and you can’t even access your data anymore this has happened over and over with a lot of cloud services so this is super super scary don’t go with such a plan definitely not and I heard also from a lot of people they are saying it they paid for such a lifetime plan and it worked for a couple of days or maybe weeks and after that they were slowing down everything so for some people already after a couple of days the bandwidth was so thin that they couldn’t use it anymore they couldn’t upload they couldn’t download so it doesn’t help when you have two terabytes and there is no speed you have to wait four weeks to upload or download even small files so then the best thing is probably to go with the monthly or or maybe with the annually because it will save a little bit of money but I really don’t have the greatest reputation so what are alternate Solutions of course the Terra box so from what I have seen in the past let’s say the last couple of years what I’ve tried uh the best thing or like two things the first thing is Terra box usually you should be able to get one terabyte some people are saying they didn’t get one terabyte I don’t know why I have even opened a couple of accounts and they all have one terabyte the good thing I have tested this with a couple of file sensitive files and it looks like they are not doing any scanning for copyright protected things so at least not at the moment they are not using Amazon storage I think they are using some storage in Japan and I have never heard about any real problems they’re usually pretty fast and I have a premium subscription and this works super fast super good one of the best Solutions of course we have have no clue what’s behind so also be very careful what your upload regarding some sensitive information the second thing here is the P Cloud which I know is located in Switzerland I think they have even the storage in Switzerland but I am not 100 sure they have been on the market for a very long time they offer very very good solutions they have even a new backup for your files which a lot of solutions don’t have like the Terra box there is no like real backup for your PC files also but on pcloud this is available so these are the only two things which I can really recommend at the moment if you’re interested I’ll put down the links I mean there are affiliate Links of course but there are no disadvantages for you you can use them and put them down into the description of the videos you can just click on that and open your accounts there was also the and it’s definitely not recommend anymore they have decreased the amount of space which is free but since these two cloud services are available the Terra box and bcloud I’ve never seen any major complaints or that they have downgraded the free amount like this here also same thing we see p Cloud I’m not sure if they have a free version I think it was 10 gigabytes just check and find out if it’s still available but these are the things which I can recommend so these are the things which I can tell you of course there are many other options but these are things which I have tested and I can give you at least a recommendation at the moment and so I hopefully
